Medical Transcription Made Easy will help you to become proficient in the following areas:
- Anatomy
- Formats for transcription
- English terms and formats
- General Medical Terminology
- Specialty and Pharmaceutical Terminology
The audio, or practical section, will be combined with the terms to make the course flow as well as give you practical experience as you learn the terminology. If you feel you have trouble with a certain section, practice the audio again for review. You may be surprised how well this review procedure will help.
Before you begin any kind of transcription studies you must be familiar with a word processor and be able to type fairly well – although speed will come with practice. You should also have a good grasp on the English language, letter formats, etc. This will always come into play in medical transcription.
To make this initial experience easier, I have designed this course to make you feel like you have really had some experience and you will have a good education behind you if you have followed the course properly and reviewed all the audio and tests.
